We found no public release of the question paper by NBEMS.

Overview

What happened in NEET PG 2024

NEET PG 2024 decided admissions to MD, MS, DNB and Diploma courses for the 2024–25 session. It was first notified for 3 March 2024, moved to 7 July, and set for 23 June in the information bulletin. On 22 June, NBEMS announced that the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare had decided to postpone it "as a precautionary measure", a decision NBEMS said was taken "in the best interests of the students and to maintain the sanctity of examination process".

On 5 July NBEMS rescheduled the exam to 11 August 2024, in two shifts. Because candidates in different shifts sat different papers, NBEMS prepared the result using the process AIIMS New Delhi uses for its exams held in more than one shift, including INI-CET. The result came out on 23 August 2024, with the qualifying cut-offs stated as percentiles and no equivalent scores.

The qualifying percentiles were lowered twice afterwards, in January and February 2025, on directions from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Preparation insights

What NEET PG 2024 changed for later candidates

  1. Time-bound sections started here

Since 2024 you cannot return to a section once its time is up. NEET PG 2025 and 2026 both used five 42-minute sections, so practise timing section by section rather than across the whole paper.

  2. Two shifts were not repeated in 2025 or 2026

NEET PG 2025 and 2026 were each held in a single shift, NBEMS did not apply the multi-shift process to the 2025 result, and it published 2026 results as raw scores. Bear that in mind when comparing 2024 with later years.
